This 7-year-old little girl amazed the judges with her performance… Watch it here!

The judges were initially charmed by Malea Emma’s undeniable adorableness, but their amazement reached new heights when she opened her mouth and began to sing.

The performance of the iconic “Star Spangled Banner,” the national anthem of the United States, marked the grand return of Season 17 of American Idol, making it a much-anticipated moment. Surprisingly, the chosen performer for this significant task was none other than a petite seven-year-old named Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja.

Malea Emma had previously gained online stardom following her rendition of the American National Anthem at a Major League Soccer match in September 2018. Her performance on Instagram, where she competed against hundreds of other users, earned her a well-deserved opportunity.

At the soccer game, Malea Emma’s powerful voice, emanating from her small frame, left everyone in awe. Her captivating performance led to a request for an interview with David Muir on ABC World News on the same day.

Soon after, she received an invitation to appear on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.” Ryan Seacrest was so impressed that he decided to personally inform the producers of American Idol about this remarkable young talent.

Subsequently, the producers of American Idol arranged for Malea Emma and her parents to travel to Idaho, where she would have the chance to perform in front of the judges during the show’s season premiere. While the judges initially found the young girl adorable, they were left utterly astonished when she began to sing the National Anthem. As her confident and extraordinary voice resonated, the judges were left in disbelief.

Dressed in a charming floral dress and a pink jacket, little Malea Emma stood before them with unwavering confidence. It was evident that she was no stranger to performing in front of an audience.

With astounding proficiency, she belted out the challenging song, effortlessly hitting the high notes toward the end. Malea Emma’s voice was flawless and under impeccable control, a remarkable feat for a child her age. She even incorporated magnificent falsetto notes and added a creative twist to the well-known anthem.

Luke Bryan, one of the judges, couldn’t contain his excitement and exclaimed, “A seven-year-old is outsinging us.” The judges were so thrilled that they awarded her a coveted Golden Ticket, ensuring her immediate journey to Hollywood in 2027. This is particularly noteworthy because the minimum age for American Idol participants is typically 15.

At just seven years old, Malea Emma is on a trajectory to become an incredibly talented vocalist, and she already possesses a Golden Ticket as proof of her extraordinary singing talent. There’s no doubt that this young girl was destined to sing!
